We live in the Grosse Pointe Woods area, about 25 minutes away from the venue. If you visit us during your stay, we can recommend a number of restaurants that we frequent.
Sy Thai Shores – High quality Thai food with plenty of Gluten free and Vegan/Vegetarian options.
Athenian Shish Kebob – Our favorite Greek diner. Get yourself some gyro, a baby greek salad, and a cup of their lemon rice soup to try our normal picks.
Waves – A great select of seafood. Delicious bread. You have to try the carrot fries.
The Original Pancake House – Some of the best crepes and Dutch Babies in the area. The location of our first date.
Mack Ave. Grill – Solid American food and delicious salads. Our second date spot.
Ashby’s Sterling Ice Cream – The best hand-dipped ice cream in town.
Wally’s Frozen Custard – Our favorite frozen custard place. Get a Bananas Foster or Reese’s Peanut Butter Avalanche!
